Summary
This JFSC notice sets the fees payable by registered persons carrying on Schedule 2 business under the Proceeds of Crime (Supervisory Bodies) (Jersey) Law 2008, excluding firms of accountants and firms of lawyers. It covers application, annual, amendment and late payment/late filing fees for the period 1 January to 31 December 2025, with detailed fee tables in Schedules 1 to 4. It has since been superseded by a later version.
- Application fee: Payable at the time of application, non-refundable, per the table in Schedule 1 (varies by whether the business is a Financial Institution, DNFBP, Virtual Asset Service Provider, sole trader, or applied for via an AMLSP).
- Annual fee: Payable by all persons registered with the JFSC as of 31 December of the preceding year, per the table in Schedule 2; AIFs and JPFs, and DNFBPs that are natural person Directors, pay £0.
- ICC/PCC Security Issuer Platforms: Structures meeting the specific criteria in paragraph 3.2 pay application and annual fees per cell under Schedule 3, capped at £19,440 total annual fees.
- Amendment fee: Payable under Schedule 4 when applying to change the registered person's name or to add, alter or remove registration conditions.
- Late payment fee: If the annual fee is not paid in full by the due date, a further 5% of the unpaid amount is added the day after the due date and on the 1st of each subsequent month.
- Administration fee for missing information: If required fee-calculation information is not supplied by the due date, a £100 fee is charged the following day and on the 1st of each subsequent month it remains outstanding, in addition to any late payment fee.
- Late filing fee: Failure to file or deliver any required document by its due date incurs a £100 fee for each complete month or part month it remains outstanding, unless the JFSC has agreed in writing to a later date.
The notice applies to registered Schedule 2 businesses such as financial institutions (other than AIFs and JPFs, which pay £0), DNFBPs, and virtual asset service providers, including sole traders and those registered directly or via an AMLSP.
Key obligations
- Registered persons must pay the application fee set out in Schedule 1 (or Schedule 3 for qualifying ICC/PCC Security Issuer Platforms) at the time of application, and it is non-refundable.
- All persons registered with the JFSC as of 31 December of the preceding year must pay the annual fee set out in Schedule 2 (or Schedule 3 for qualifying ICC/PCC structures).
- Registered persons must pay an amendment fee under Schedule 4 when applying to change their registered name or to add, alter or remove registration conditions.
- If the annual fee is not paid in full by the due date, an additional 5% late payment fee applies from the day after the due date and again on the 1st of each subsequent month.
- If required fee-calculation information is not supplied by the due date, a £100 administration fee is charged the following day and on the 1st of each subsequent month it remains outstanding.
- If a registered person fails to file or deliver a required document by its due date, it must pay £100 for each complete month or part month the document remains unfiled, unless the JFSC has agreed in writing to a later filing date.

Deadlines
- 1 January 2025 to 31 December 2025: Period for which the fees set out in this notice are effective.
- 31 December of the preceding year: Annual fee is payable by all persons registered with the JFSC as of this date.
- time of application: Due date for payment of the application fee.
- due date specified on invoice or form: Due date for payment of fees or submission of required fee information, as stated in the JFSC invoice or the relevant form.
