Summary

This notice sets out the fees payable by money service businesses (MSBs) registered with the Jersey Financial Services Commission (JFSC) for the 2025 calendar year (1 January to 31 December 2025). It has since been superseded by a later fees notice, but reflects the fee regime that applied during 2025.

  • Application fee: £3,881 must accompany an application for registration to carry on money service business.
  • Annual fee: £3,881 payable by any person registered to carry on money service business at any point during the calendar year.
  • Late payment fee: If the annual fee is not paid by the due date shown on the JFSC invoice (or, for new registrants, the registration date), a late payment fee of 5% of the unpaid principal is added the day after the due date and again on the first day of each subsequent calendar month.
  • Late filing fee: Failure to file or deliver any required document (including supervisory risk data) by its due date incurs £100 for each complete month or part month it remains outstanding, unless the JFSC has agreed in writing to a later date.

The fees and penalty structure apply specifically to registered money service businesses under the Financial Services (Jersey) Law 1998, as amended.
