Summary
This notice sets out the fees payable to the JFSC under the Control of Borrowing (Jersey) Order 1958 (CoBO) for the period 1 January to 31 December 2025. It covers application fees for CoBO consents, the annual fee for Jersey Private Funds (JPFs), and late payment and late filing fees. It has since been superseded by a later fees notice.
- JPF initial consent: Application fee of £1,849 for an initial JPF CoBO consent.
- Other CoBO consent: Fee of £686 for a CoBO consent application not covered by the JPF fee, via Central Authorisations.
- Jersey UT (non fund): Fee of £568 for an initial CoBO consent application to the Companies Registry.
- NDS (non fund): Fee of £568 for an initial CoBO consent application to the Companies Registry.
- Amended consent: Fee of £287 for an amended CoBO consent where the original was issued under the Jersey UT or NDS categories.
- JPF annual fee: £1,475 payable on 1 January each year for as long as the JPF's CoBO consent remains in force, payable by the governing body or the designated service provider (DSP); pro rated at one twelfth per month for in year consents.
- Late payment fee: 5% of unpaid principal applied the day after the due date, and again on the first day of each subsequent month the fee remains unpaid.
- Late filing fee (JPF Return): DSP liable for £100 the day after the JPF Return falls due, plus £100 on the first day of each month it remains unfiled, unless the JFSC has agreed in writing to a late filing.
The fees apply to collective investment funds, Jersey Private Funds, Jersey unit trusts that are not funds, and non domiciled structures seeking or holding CoBO consents.
Key obligations
- A JPF (or its DSP on its behalf) must pay the annual fee of £1,475 by the due date each year that the CoBO consent remains in force, pro rated for consents issued during the year.
- Applicants must pay the relevant application fee (£1,849, £686, £568 or £287 depending on category) when seeking an initial or amended CoBO consent.
- If a JPF fee is not paid by the due date, an additional 5% late payment fee applies and recurs monthly until paid.
- A DSP must file or deliver the JPF Return by its due date or become liable for a £100 late filing fee, recurring monthly, unless prior written agreement for late filing has been obtained from the JFSC.

Deadlines
- 1 January - 31 December 2025: Period for which the fees set out in this notice are effective
- 1 January in each relevant year: Date on which the JPF annual fee becomes payable, for as long as the CoBO consent remains in force
- due date: JPF annual fee must be paid no later than the due date specified in the invoice for fees
- day after due date, and first day of each subsequent month: Late payment fee of 5% of unpaid principal applies if JPF fee not paid by due date
- day after JPF Return falls due, and first day of each subsequent month: Late filing fee of £100 applies to DSP if JPF Return not filed or delivered by its due date
