This notice, issued by the Jersey Financial Services Commission, sets the application fees payable in relation to Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs) and AIF services business (AIFSB) for the period 1 July 2024 to 31 December 2024. It replaces the prior fee notice for that fee cycle and has since been superseded by a later fees notice.

  • AIF application fee: A fee of £2,152 applies to applications for a certificate under the Alternative Investment Funds (Jersey) Regulations 2012 for any AIF registered in Jersey as a company, limited partnership or limited liability partnership, or any AIF that is a Jersey unit trust.
  • AIF services business application fee: A fee of £2,152 applies to applications for registration under Article 2(11) of the Financial Services (Jersey) Law 1998 to carry on Class ZL (Manager of an AIF) AIF services business.
  • Exemptions: No application fee is payable under this notice where the AIF is a Certified Fund or a Recognised Fund, or where the applicant for AIF services business registration is already registered for one or more classes of fund services business under Article 2(10) of the FS(J)L, or is a Recognised Fund functionary, covering the same classes or functions.
