Guidance Note: Validation and verification of the '9.7 AIRB Detail' Sheet (JIBs prudential reporting) (March 2019)

• Excel limitation: Built-in Excel validation only triggers on direct manual input and is not a failsafe; JIBs must check their own data before relying on it.
• Submission process: Submitting the template to the JFSC triggers the full set of checks; if all checks pass, the submission is accepted and the JIB is notified together with any warnings.
• Error identification: Each check has a unique numbered identifier that appears in any failure message so the JIB can match it back to this guidance note.
