Limited Liability Partnership (Fees) (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations, 2024 (SL 64 of 2024)

Summary

This instrument amends the fee schedule attached to the Limited Liability Partnership (Fees) Regulations, 2020, which sets out the statutory fees payable for various filings and services relating to Cayman Islands limited liability partnerships (LLPs). It replaces items 15 to 21 of the existing Schedule with a revised and expanded list of fees (items 15 through 26).

The Regulations come into force immediately after the Limited Liability Partnership (Amendment and Validation) Act, 2024 comes into force, rather than on a fixed calendar date, so practitioners should track the commencement of that Act to determine when the new fees take effect.

Key obligations

• LLPs, their partners, or persons filing documents must pay the revised fees set out in the amended Schedule (items 15-26) for the corresponding registrations, deregistrations, continuations, conversions, filings, certifications, copying, searches, refunds, deregistrations, error corrections, and customised certificates/letters.
