Summary

This is a public warning statement issued by the Jersey Financial Services Commission alerting investors and the public that White Horse (also operating as White Horse Corp, White Horse Corporation, WHC Banking Services, WHC Bank Inc., and WHC Trusts) is not authorised to conduct financial service business or deposit-taking business in Jersey.

  • Not registered: White Horse has never been registered, or applied for registration, under the Financial Services (Jersey) Law 1998, meaning any financial service business it has carried out since 1 July 1999 breaches Article 6 of that Law.
  • Not authorised to take deposits: White Horse has never been registered, or applied for registration, under the Banking Business (Jersey) Law 1991, meaning any deposit-taking business it has carried out since 1 October 1991 breaches Article 7 of that Law.
  • Public request: Anyone who has had dealings with White Horse is asked to contact the Commission.

This is an enforcement notice of a purely informational and warning nature; it does not impose ongoing compliance obligations on regulated entities but warns the public and legitimate businesses to check the Commission's register of authorised firms.
