Summary
This is a public statement issued by the Jersey Financial Services Commission warning investors and others against dealing with Trustshore Bank & Trust Corporation and the Integris Group of Mutual Funds, neither of which holds any licence or authorisation in Jersey. It re-issues an earlier 2002 statement, adding clarifications that these entities are not connected to similarly-named entities licensed elsewhere, including one mutual fund licensed by the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority.
- No licences held: Trustshore and Integris have never held or applied for licences under Jersey's Financial Services Law, Banking Business Law, or Collective Investment Funds Law.
- Breaches alleged: Any financial services, deposit-taking, or collective investment fund business conducted by these entities constitutes a breach of the relevant Jersey laws.
- No genuine Jersey link: The Commission found no genuine links between Trustshore or Integris and the Jersey address advertised on their website.
- No connection to licensed entities: Trustshore is not connected to Bayshore Bank and Trust (Barbados) Corporation, and Integris is not connected to Intergris Bank & Trust Limited (Barbados) or Intergris Funds Limited (licensed by the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority).
The Commission asks anyone who has dealt with Trustshore or Integris to contact it, and reminds the public that all regulated businesses are listed on its website.
