Summary

This is a public warning statement issued by the Jersey Financial Services Commission cautioning investors and the public against dealing with Finascore, Finascore Finance and Piccadilly Finance (collectively Finascore), operating via the website www.finascorre.com. The Commission states that these entities are not authorised to carry on investment, deposit-taking or other financial service business in Jersey.

• No registration under Financial Services Law: Finascore has never been registered, or applied for registration, under the Financial Services (Jersey) Law 1998. Any financial service business it has carried out since 1 July 1999 is stated to be a breach of Article 6 of that Law.
• No registration under Banking Business Law: Finascore has never been registered, or applied for registration, under the Banking Business (Jersey) Law 1991. Any deposit-taking business it has carried out since 1 October 1991 is stated to be a breach of Article 7 of that Law.
• Public request for information: Anyone who has had dealings with Finascore is asked to contact the Commission.

The statement is issued under Article 22 of the Financial Services (Jersey) Law 1998 and Article 45B of the Banking Business (Jersey) Law 1991, and is informational in nature, warning against an unauthorised provider rather than imposing new requirements on regulated firms.
