Summary

This is a public warning statement issued by the Jersey Financial Services Commission (JFSC) identifying ESFS Group and related entities as unauthorised financial services providers operating in or from Jersey. It is intended to alert investors and the public that this group has never been registered or licensed under Jersey's financial services, banking business, or collective investment funds legislation.

  • Investment business: ESFS Group has never registered under the Financial Services (Jersey) Law 1998; any financial service business it has conducted since 1 July 1999 breaches Article 6 of that Law.
  • Deposit taking: ESFS Group has never registered under the Banking Business (Jersey) Law 1991; any deposit taking business conducted since 1 October 1991 breaches Article 7 of that Law.
  • Collective investment funds: ESFS Group has never registered or licensed under the Collective Investment Funds (Jersey) Law 1988; any fund business conducted since 1 June 1988 breaches Article 4 of that Law.

The Commission asks anyone who has had dealings with ESFS Group to contact it directly. The notice does not impose ongoing compliance obligations on regulated firms but serves as a public warning about an unauthorised operator.
