Jersey Financial Services Commission (JFSC) · Jersey

Issued 2021-07-05

Current version last checked: 2026-07-11

Summary

This is a public warning statement issued by the JFSC under Article 25(d) of the Financial Services (Jersey) Law 1998. It alerts the public that an entity trading as Belvedere Trading Services (the Impersonating Entity) is impersonating the genuine Jersey registered entity Belvedere Services Limited and is conducting, or purporting to conduct, investment business in Jersey without authorisation.

  • No connection: The Impersonating Entity, its website and email addresses have no link whatsoever to the genuine registered entity Belvedere Services Limited (RC 90941), which is based at 28 Esplanade, St Helier, Jersey JE2 3QA.
  • False claims: The Impersonating Entity falsely claims to trade from Liberation Station, St Helier and to have a registered office at 28 Esplanade, St Helier.
  • Unauthorised business: The Impersonating Entity has never registered or applied for registration under the FS(J)L, so any investment business it carries out is in breach of Article 7 of the FS(J)L.
  • Fraud warning: Documentation held by the JFSC indicates the Impersonating Entity, its website and email addresses display warning signs of being set up for a fraudulent purpose.

The JFSC asks anyone who has dealt with the Impersonating Entity to contact the Commission, and notes that all genuinely regulated businesses in Jersey are listed on the JFSC website. This is an informational warning notice rather than a rule imposing ongoing compliance obligations on regulated entities.
