Summary

This is a public warning notice issued by the Jersey Financial Services Commission (JFSC) alerting the public that Atlas Group AG, Atlas Limited (Hong Kong) and Atlas Limited (Jersey) are impersonating a genuine Jersey registered company, Atlas Limited, and are not authorised or regulated in Jersey. • False claims: The impersonating entities, via www.atlasgroupag.com and associated email addresses, falsely claim to represent the genuine Jersey company Atlas Limited (registration 150612), to trade from its address at 13 Castle Street, St Helier, and to be licensed and regulated by the JFSC.
• Unauthorised activity: They are carrying on, or holding themselves out as carrying on, Investment Business and Schedule 2 business (investing, administering or managing funds or money) in Jersey without JFSC authorisation, in contravention of Article 7 of the Financial Services (Jersey) Law 1998 and Article 10 of the Proceeds of Crime (Supervisory Bodies) (Jersey) Law 2008.
• No association: The JFSC confirms the impersonating entities, website and email addresses have no connection to the genuine Atlas Limited or its service provider, Suntera Trustees (Jersey) Limited, and have never applied for registration under the relevant laws.
• Scam warning signs: The notice lists common scam indicators (poor spelling/grammar, urgency, unusual payment/communication methods, requests for personal information, look-alike website addresses) and recommends the Stop, Check, Protect approach.
• Reporting: Members of the public who believe they have been targeted are advised to report to the States of Jersey Police, their bank, and the JFSC's Enforcement Division, or use the confidential whistleblowing line.
