CRS Compliance Form bulk upload template – CSV
Status not confirmedView on DITC's website Source document
Summary
This document is a blank CSV template published by the Cayman Islands Department for International Tax Cooperation (DITC) for use when submitting the CRS Compliance Form via a bulk upload process. It is not a piece of guidance or legislation but a technical template consisting solely of column headers that correspond to the questions asked on the CRS Compliance Form.
- FI's name
- FI number
- Reporting period
- CIMA licensing/registration status
- Nature of the FI's business
- Details of non-reportable accounts
- AML/KYC and AML/CFT arrangements
- Confirmations regarding written CRS policies, procedures and self-certification compliance under Reg. 7(3) of the Cayman Islands CRS Regulations
The template applies to Reporting Financial Institutions (and Trustee-Documented Trusts, which must include Trustee details) that are required to complete and submit the annual CRS Compliance Form to DITC. Rather than imposing new substantive obligations itself, the CSV mirrors the fields of the existing CRS Compliance Form so that FIs, or those filing on their behalf (e.g. corporate service providers), can prepare and upload data for multiple entities in bulk rather than entering each form manually through the DITC portal.
Because the document is purely a data-entry template with no accompanying narrative instructions, deadlines, or explanatory text beyond the column headers, it does not itself state filing deadlines or new compliance requirements; those are set out in the underlying CRS Compliance Form guidance and Cayman Islands CRS Regulations, which this template is designed to support.
Key obligations
