BVIFARS Online (2022-01-17)

Summary

This is a short notice from the BVI International Tax Authority informing Virgin Islands Financial Institutions and Constituent Entities that the BVIFARS portal, used for FATCA, UK CDOT and CRS reporting, is back online after a period of downtime. It contains no new requirements or rule changes, only a service status update and an apology for the outage.

• Portal status: BVIFARS (BVI Financial Account Reporting System) is confirmed as currently online and available for use
• Purpose of portal: BVIFARS is the web based system through which VIFIs satisfy reporting obligations under US FATCA, UK CDOT and CRS arrangements
