Summary
Form B-2 is the application a BVI Financial Services Commission regulated person must submit to obtain approval for changing its auditor, but only where the incoming auditor is already approved by the Commission. If the proposed new auditor has not previously been approved, Form B-1 must be used instead.
- Applicant details: Name of the regulated person and its company licence number
- Type of regulated person: Indicate whether the entity is engaged in Banking, Insurance, Investment Business, Fiduciary Services, or Other (specify), plus any specific licence class or category
- Auditor change details: Name and address of the former auditor and of the auditor to be appointed
- Reasons for change: A statement explaining why the auditor is being changed
- Verification: Signature, printed name, capacity (on behalf of whom), and date
The form also contains a section reserved for internal FSC use, recording date received, the officer processing it, date considered, and whether the application is approved, denied, or deferred.
