Notice - Cohort 14 Lloyd’s Lab Accelerator Programme (2024-12-03)

This is an informational notice from the Bermuda Monetary Authority announcing that applications are open for Cohort 14 of the Lloyd's Lab Accelerator Programme, themed 'Shaping the Future of Reinsurance in Bermuda'. • Bermuda opportunity: Selected teams may spend part of the 10 week programme developing their proof of concept in Bermuda, with BMA providing working space and facilitating mentor and regulatory support; participants cover their own living and accommodation costs.
• Mentors: BMA invites Bermuda-based industry leaders and experts to volunteer as mentors by contacting George Alayon, Deputy Director for Supervision (FinTech).
• Open Houses: Two virtual open house sessions will be held to allow applicants to meet the Lloyd's Lab team, scheduled for 7 January 2025 and 21 January 2025 (GMT).

The notice sets out a series of key programme dates for interested applicants, from the application deadline through to the programme's Demo Day, but creates no ongoing compliance obligations for regulated entities.

• by Monday, 3 March 2025: Applicants notified whether they have advanced to Pitch Day.
• Tuesday, 25 March 2025: Pitch Day for Cohort 14 applicants.
• Monday, 28 April 2025: Programme start date for selected Cohort 14 teams.
• Wednesday, 9 July 2025: Demo Day for Cohort 14.
• Tuesday, 7 January 2025, 4pm-5pm GMT: First virtual Open House event.
• Tuesday, 21 January 2025, 9am-10am GMT: Second virtual Open House event.
